Stray Dogs Attack Again!

Yesterday morning sweet Aisha, my 8 year old cousins daughter, got attacked by two stray dog in Khairan area. If it wasn’t for Alla’s mercy and the fact that they rescued her in a short time or she would have been eaten alive! she got bitten in multiple places on her little body. That night her mom sent a broadcast telling us that she is ok now and have been hospitalized. She could not inform us about any other details yet for they have been taking care of her child.

Now this is the second incident. In Ramadan a 4 year old girl was attacked as well as I heard, then that guy who started killing random stray dogs in a brutal way mad a fuss and a lot of people were very upset for his cruelty.

Just to be clear, we are AGAINST killing those animals in such cruel way, and we believe its not the answer to the problem. Those Stray dogs need to be captured by the responsible people and no one have the right to do what that guy did.

The point of posting her picture on Instagram was to aware people of the problem and take care not to let their children wander in such areas alone thinking that its safe. Also to let people who are responsible know that they are not doing their job and what happened to those poor children is on them.

I was really annoyed when one of the comments hinted that this whole thing was made up! why would we make such thing up using that little girls picture. we do not encourage killing dogs as I mentioned previously.

Our Beach…

Ever since I was little I loved going to the beach my father would take us during summer and I would just have a blast and never wanted to get out of the water. now I’m actually concerned about my health whenever I do swim in our beaches in Kuwait …

Last weekend we went to the beach for a swim. I noticed there was A LOT of  plastic waste just thrown there on the sands, floating on the water and people are still having fun and enjoying their time. it became a normal thing for us to see such thin. In fact, we would be surprised if the beach was nice and clean!

the question is” how long will this continue” ? we all know its pollution, we all know its bad for us and our environment yet we just ignore the problem and go on with our lives knowing that if this continues to be the situation one day our children wont be able to enjoy this beach or eat anything that comes out of it…well its already happening actually…

how long are we going to be ignorant and naive or pretend to be ? just to avoid dealing with the problem. Its not a minor problem no! its a huge one that affect our lives and our land.

trash cans are every where on the beach yet no one bothers to use them. why isn’t there any low to forbid such thing ?! and I mean strict laws that are applied for real unlike unrealistic laws. For example  smoking is not allowed in the airport and in The Avenues mall yet everybody is doing it right next to the none smoking sign!!. polluting our country should be a crime.

Miseela beach has been closed now for more that three years I think. Why isn’t anybody doing anything about the problem ?! why hasn’t it been solved yet?!

this is very frustrating, the new generation should be educated regarding the issue and learn that loving their country doesn’t mean dancing in the street on liberty day…but keeping it beautiful and safe for f us and our children in the future to enjoy.

@Walesskw : Eco Friendly Car Wash

I just heard about WALESS, a eco friendly car wash. If you are an environmental freak, then this would go perfectly with you. I think I will try them one day….when it is not dusty anymore ! I still didn’t clean it since the big dust storm. My car should be black !!!!! anyway, this is another story.
