I had a hard time when Meshari wakes up at night for his feeding and would never go back to sleep but stairs at the sealing instead and that is because the lamp is a bit bright and makes shapes of shadows on the sealing :(

At Pretty Little Things Expo I saw this night light at (Baby B) . and I thought this was the suitable solution !

This light is an eco-friendly light source. it doesn’t get hot . charge it for 5 hours and it will light up for 7o hours. and the light is not too bright. The sweet owner of BabyB told me that her 3 years old still uses it and keeps it with her in bed at night.

its very useful and safe :). You can get it from Baby B which is located right above The Coffee Bean Alseef. I got it for 11kd I think

Yes I got this from Sanrio Japan…eyelashes are very very famous in Japan. Girls wear them everyday with their makeup… I swear I saw this lady applying her makeup and put on her lashes in the subway train

I guess mascara wont do any good to them because they have very fine eyelashes and they love anything that makes their eyes looks big just like anime girls

Review: Vinny’s

We wanted to do this review a long time ago but somethings came up and we didn’t …

Vinny’s is famous for their fresh sugar-free juices ,I ordered pomegranate juice and His had lemon with mint. the juices were served in cute bottles !

Things you must try for starters are the chips and the chicken pie, the chips comes with a very delicious sauce on the side. The chicken pie tastes as if it was home made..yum! and both are suitable for sharing…

For main course I got the creamy chicken salad and His had the Italian burger. My salad was really nice if you are a picky eater like His, this salad is for you it has only mixed lettuce and a really nice creamy dressing. for the burger His thought it was Ok but not the best he had tried.

For dessert we had the kinder bread pudding, His love it so much but it was too sweet for me.

We do recommend to try it out, now that they are open from 11 am so lunch is not a problem. Located in 52 Degree’s at Tilal.

LadyB’s T-shirt collection are available at fortune cookie  , Olympia mall and now in UAE S*uce

best of luck B :*

Recycling In Japan

one thing that is fascinating about Japan is how clean the country is even though Tokyo is full of trains ,cars and concrete buildings …

we noticed that all of their trash cans are divided into sections to recycle plastics, paper and glass just like these…

they’re everywhere in cafes ,restaurants ,streets …you name it…

its actually THE LAW there. In 1997 the Japanese Ministry of Environment forced this Law to reduce waste which everyone and every place should follow  there.

toilets have hand dryers that  are used instead of tissues , now I know we have them as well but we also have the option of using tissues, they don’t .

speaking of toilets :p Japan also is known for their High-tech toilets , they wash, dry and flush with bottoms on the side! it also provides the option of  letting a flush sound on while you use the toilet !

and they’re everywhere not only in fancy places..

what I wanted to say through this post is that I really wish we can apply this recycling methods in our own country. If we love Kuwait we would keep it clean and unpolluted for us and for our children. I could start by my self but we also need to raise awareness of the problem which is getting worse day by day…we are getting sick more often, more kids are developing allergies and asthma’s at a very early age and that’s just a threatening sign .

We noticed they just looove iced tea in Japan its more popular than soft drinks there which is quite good actually because they’re healthier of course …

Even Lipton tea there has various flavors …

Iced tea late :) ( I don’t want to know how it tastes :p)

Saturday night I attended PLT expo this time it was held for charity…

I noticed that this time a lot of  jewelry designers are participating ,each one has its unique beautiful collection I must say I was impressed by their talents mashalla…

I mostly liked Muneera Alsharhan’s jewelries it was inspired by Arabic signs and a hint of Kuwaiti traditions yet very hip at the same time .. you’ve got to check them out if you pass by …

Another jewelry designer  that caught my eyes was Lina Jewelry Design here collection is hand made and gold plated very elegant yet trendy and modern using crochet in most of her jewelry …

Also a very talented  jewelry designer was there Thhaba… her designs are very simple with skinny chains and rings ..her new collection was launched there as well…

Pieces By Farah a Kuwaiti interior designer Farah Alhumaidhi had modern designed hand crafted furniture pieces which you can customize by your taste (must see her work in the gallery)

Not to froget Baby B was there too I just love their new collection at the expo. Girl head bands were out of this worlds cuteness! and the boys clothes are so adorable its hard to find nice baby boys clothes in Kuwait but they have a really nice collection for boys. Thanks to them I got the night light and I’ve been using it for the past two days its great!

last but not least The Saudi designer Razan Alazouni was there presenting her beautiful darra’as from Threads. If you were looking for something to wear in Ramadan then you should defiantly take a look at her collection.

This is just a highlight of what I liked there there are more pretty little things you should check out at beat alsadu , the expo is held until tomorrow night . During your visit, you get to donate an amount of money to the orphanage as well.
