We pass this street almost every day when we were at Barcelona and we enjoyed watching those people do the weirdest things :p

I think there’s a chair inside his clothes but then again how can he sit on a chair with one leg?! :-|

I didnt even wanna know what his performance was about :worried:

What can I say about the food there except that its mind blowing
Every where we walked there were pizzerias, pastries , gelato’s and of course their famous paella’s :)

Now this is what I call gelato … I usually don’t eat it in q8 I hate it, but there its something else!! I adored it….can you see the waffles on top? they make you drool :p almost every gelato and cafe shop there sells them, even Ben & Jerry’s sell waffles …I’ve never had any waffle in q8 that tastes the same!

this is Ben&Jerry’s

Fraggo cafe ( I KNOW )

This was my first paella

I even ate oysters :worried:

we went one day to their fruit market at La Rambla st. ( kind of like Mbarkya here :p ) where they sell meat ,fish and fruit …

But its not as smelly as mbarkya :p it was very clean and nice..

Love the way they slice and wrap their fruits for you to eat right away …

and I chose this as an afternoon snack…

latgolonly pink berry ! that was the real deal :D yes it was as yummy as it looks!

I miss eating there :emotion: wish I could go there for one more gelato !

The shopping streets in Barcelona are Passeig de Gracia, La Rambla and Avinguda del Portal de l’Àngel.
When we get out of the hotel Chanel, LV, Gucci, Hermes…and so on on are on my left…

On my right there was Breshka, Oysho, Disigual, Zara, H&M, Esprit, Escada, Custo and soooo on…

Custo Barcelona has a men section and a children section! they also sell shoes which were very nice a colorful just like their clothes …I wonder why we don’t have the same thing here ;-(

H&M there is something else! if you think its cheap here then you’re wrong…its even cheaper there and clothes there are much better …things that I could not find at H&M Kuwait because they were sold out I found them there…
what also surprised me is that I found a makeup section there and I loooved it!
They also have a whole hello kitty section  full of shower gels ,lotions ,body sprays, lip glosses etc…

Disigual there is Like Starbucks here …IT’S EVERYWHERE !! I swear I walked in a street where there was 5 Disigual stores one after the other! everybody is wearing it there :)

I’m not done yet I’ll be posting more about shopping soon :-*

PortAventura is theme park one hour away from Barcelona. It used to be part of the Universal Studios theme parks but it was bought by another company and the Universal part was removed.

The park is divided into different sections that represent different countries and civilizations. Each section has its own rides.

One problem is that the queues were HUGE, I mean the minimum for one ride would be 45 minutes and at least 1 hour and a half for the good rides. I guess because it is the summer holidays and every kid was there. That was also a weekday.

Well we tried one ride at least and checked every shop there. If you are a Sesame Street fan or a Woody Woodpecker fan then you will find some really good souvenirs in PortAventura from those characters.

Also imagine taking the last train back to Barcelona !!!!

If you are a football fan then Barcelona FC should be part of your visit plan. Tickets costs 17 Euro for adults.

The Experience starts with Barcelona FC history and all the cups they have won.

Of course any football fan won’t forget their 6 Titles in 2009.

Once done with all the history, you go and check out the stadium seating

You then head to the locker room

Then you get ready to go through the tunnel to field, but before that they have a place to pray just before they leave the tunnel

Then you see the field up close

Then you head all the way up to see the field from the press side. This is where all the TV stations sit and watch the game.

Then you can check out some more information about Barcelona FC. Such as the official Barcelona FC fan clubs and where they are found. Kuwait does not have an official fan club but they do have 136 members.

This was a really good visit and recommended to every one really, you do not have to be a football fan at all. Her is not a football fan and enjoyed the visit to Barcelona FC.
