The latest news of Blackberry ban in the UAE and USA has sparked a huge outrage around the world with different views. I am not a blackberry fan and at the same time I understand that some people want the security in case of any type of incident. Now RIM does not want to provide the option to snoop some of the content due to privacy. On the other side governments are fighting to get the ability to see the communication between people.
Both sides have a point and I understand but what shocked me was the co-CEO of RIM Mike Lazaridis:
“A lot of these people don’t have Ph.Ds, and they don’t have a degree in computer science.”
What an amazing way to settle things ! A CEO of a big company such as RIM should really be a person where he could handle a situation without attacking. I think this will trigger a bigger problem soon !

I was talking to a friend of mine a few days back and we talked about social networking and where it is heading. Now that Facebook has reached 500 Million users. It seems that social networking will be here for a while.
A few years back, social networking would be limited to countries. You would only have your friends, family or colleagues in your list. Now the global networks provide groups where you can find your old friends from school or university. Groups with different interests and events. These groups are a virtual community that provide knowledge sharing. Groups also provide you on what people think or how popular a person is. For example the number of fans of a certain celebrity or how many people “like” a certain Movie.
Social networking has been also used lately to provide information to others regardless if you are part of a group or not. One example would be the “Trapster” application that lets people share the locations of speed cameras and radars.
Let us not forget that social networks provides you a space to speak your mind. People share their opinions on the social network sites. Many political issues have been discussed on Facebook. Election candidates would use Youtube and Facebook to reach more people. Many political campaigns were based on social networks and the campaigns were a success because of these networks. Youtube has been considered a social network because of the many youtubers out there. Video blogging has been increasing rapidly lately and has provided us with many talented people around the world. People are being discovered through youtube now.
Blogs are part of the social networks that have an impact on people and events. A review of a movie or restaurant would make a difference. Many blogs were successful in campaigning for a person to be elected or even released from jail. This shows that everyone has an impact in others peoples lives.
The question is, how will the social networks be used in the future? would it be used for educating people around the world? or events would be accessible for everyone? part of the one world order conspiracy?
The future can hold many things for us when it comes to technology and the internet. However a little price has to be paid. Privacy. When social networks started, privacy was not part of their plan. However, due to many internet crime such as fraud. Social networks have provided us with privacy options. However these options are not strong enough. Sharing your personal information online is like saying “Here take my password”. With your personal information, identity theft is high. Anyone can take your this information and use it in many different ways to cause harm.
In the next few of years. I believe these social networks will be a must in everyones life.
These charts are really good. Again this is another topic me and Her disagree on. I think that women take extra stuff on vacation and never use them. While Her thinks that women need those extra stuff.
CEO of the second biggest company in the States has a humble sense when it comes to the dress code.
Only in 2001 he forgot his sneakers but other than that it was fine. Regarding this, would you judge someone at work by what they are wearing?
This is a new video from Dub-G who is a Kuwaiti Rapper from Army of One. Watch the Video and tell me what do you think?
Seriously I don’t know what to say about this company !!!! Many people complained about it yet they do not bother. Their website is one of the worst I have ever visited. Every time I need to book tickets something has to go wrong.
First thing, I always need to login twice. The main login section on the main page does not log me in.
Secondly, I had to book the tickets 4 TIMES because of processing errors.
They added this link…

I had to tell them…and now I am awaiting their reply!
At the end KNCC you do not have to change but what you need is competition!
UPDATE:
I just found out I was charged 3 times out of the 4 times I tried to book. They offered to return the money or provide me with an electronic coupon.
