It is nice to see mobile operators show some road awareness/safety for the drivers.

I have seen the Zain awareness signs a while back at the 4th ring road bridge. Now I noticed that Wataniya added some signs on the bridges through the 5th Ring Road.

I’ve seen this ad yesterday for Zain for the UNRWA. It is nice to provide for the Refugees during the holy Month of Ramadan. Each message costs 2$ and will go to help the refugees. Send the following words to 99888:

وبمراجعة الحلقة تؤكد «الوطن» انها لم تحتو على اي ايحاءات غير اخلاقية ولم تنعت اهل المغرب بأي سوء انما كانت فكرتها منصبة على سلوكيات خاطئة من مواطنينا خاصة وان يوميات بوقتادة وبونبيل تهتم بمتابعة الممارسات الكويتية في الداخل والخارج وتتولاها بالنقد.
وعلى الرغم من ذلك، فان «الوطن» تعرب عن اعتذارها ومعزتها وتقديرها لأي من الأخوة المغاربة الذين فهموا الحلقة خطأ او تناولوا ما ورد من مداعبات فيها بحساسية مفرطة، مؤكدين اننا نكن لكم ولبلادكم العزيزة على قلوبنا كل المعزة والتقدير.

After the huge problems that occurred after two  different series in the Kuwaiti Media. Kuwait has been under attack from different countries.

First, Came “Bo Qatada ow Bo Nabeel” on Al-Watan who have attacked Morocco in a very bad way and showed them as a bad country. Then comes “9adoh” on Scopre TV that made a mockery out of Emirates. Let us not forget also Al-Qabas that stole pictures from a Bahraini Blogger.

First As a fellow Kuwaiti I would like to apologize To Morocco and the UAE for our low media that makes a mockery out of everything thinking this is comedy. Unfortunately, our Media for the past few years have made mockery out of others without taking in consideration that there are more important issues to discuss regarding Kuwait.

Secondly, hacking a Kuwaiti website is not the way to go. In my opinion people should do the right thing and sue the people behind those series. A fellow Kuwaiti Lawyer “زيد جاسم الخباز” will sue the Saudi series “طاش”  on MBC due to mockery of the Jahra fire (via Al-Arabiya). Thats how people should be defending themselves.

Finally, how low can we get? Our media has been attacking everyone and every person that represent Kuwait and at the end they say “الوحده الوطنية”. Trust me all you are doing is differentiating between Kuwaitis and now between our fellow Arab brothers.Scopre TV’s series “صوتك وصل” has this qoute at the start of the program that all characters are of the writers imagination and does not represent any living Human. Who are you kidding? We should be solving our problems instead of mocking other countries. Countries that stood with us when we most needed them. Any other country that would attack Kuwait, we would be so furious. Yet, the way our Media is working, we should not blame them for defending their country the way we will defend our country if it was attacked.

I hope that our media notice that they did a wrong thing and that they should be more professional in the future.

This ad would be very very helpful in Kuwait. When it comes to driving in Kuwait, some people think that they own the roads. One thing I noticed lately is the amount of tailgating some drivers are doing.

Just yesterday I saw 3 cars just behind each other speeding…all of them are signaling for the other to move over. There would be a catastrophe if the car in the front had to break suddenly.

A couple of days back, some guy was behind me and was signaling to me to move over. The problem is moving over was not an option it was either the safety lane or just swerving over other cars on the next lane. He kept on signaling and signaling,I was on the verge of just breaking so hard he would literally be sitting next to me.

We all heard about the oil spill caused by BP. Well, they lost a whole lot of money ($100,000,000,000 to be exact) what could have they bought with all of this money? click on the pic below to know !
