No not the fruit. This is a small bakery shop that we heard about many times lately. Yesterday was the first day of Ramadan and we had our fu6oor at His’s place. I thought we should go to Kiwi and get some dessert for his family and my family. They had this box of different sweets such as pumpkin cakes, chocolate cakes, date cakes and pistachio and cream. It also has some sauces and syrups.

His also bought some mini pastries for fu6oor. They had a variety of mini rolls and small sandwiches also.

It is a nice place to get something for your Ramadan gathering.

It i located next to Plaza in Hawalli :)

I mentioned before that I will post about my favorite Japanese restaurant in q8 and this is it :)
I tried a couple of Japanese food here and I’m sure now that this is the BEST in q8 and I highly recommend it …

here are some of the things we order there…

I usually start with” Edamame ” with the very nice spicy sauce on the side

His likes the ” Wafu Gayoza” a pan fried chicken dumplings
I also recommend ” Okami ” the wife salad

Now the Maki

we always order “Kuwaiti Maki ” I highly recommend you try it

“Crunchy Maki ” very nice :-*

“Chicken Katso Maki” His love’s it ,he says it was made for him :p but he orders it without seaweed :)

and “Sweet Potato Maki” one of my favorite’s

and after that you’re gonna need a cup of green tea:)

why we love Meli Melo:

- because ,like I said before , it has the best Japanese food in q8.
- even though the place is almost 6×5 m its very cozy .
- their food is not fishy like other Japanese restaurants its very tasty and I like their seaweed :)
- its not too crowded and there’s always a table waiting for us :)

location:

Alsha’ab Albahri, Kaendi St, Building No.73A
Tel:22661520 / 65915566
they also have home delivery service

so I went to Caribou cafe yesterday to get a latte and I saw their ad

I wanted to try the cinnamon thingy but the waiter recommended the Caramel Earl Grey so I ordered one and I loved it

I told him that I don’t want it to be too sweet though and he didn’t put lots of caramel and it was perfect :)

if you like tea latte you would like this… now I want to try their other lattes
