Well I was waiting for this movie since April and I watched it today. If you do not want to spoil the movie for yourself. I might have said some spoilers bellow :P.
Now the cast was really good and I hoped that Stallone, Willis and Swarchenegger would be the main characters of the story. However, Arnold and Bruce only were cameos. With Jet li and Jason Stathem as main characters next to Sylvester. However, I think that Jet Li did not get enough time in the movie.
The movie is action packed and full of killing and fights. However it lacked a good storyline. Typical save the girl and fall in love scenario. It wasn’t really interesting from the story. I think the number of kills increased by 100 for all the cast. The story was distributed in a good time I guess, however nothing about how the Expendables came to be or their history was known. (just bits and pieces)
Also, they tried to have some funny quotes (especially that Terry Crews was in it). They failed on that part. There jokes were also typical and re-used. I really thought that Terry Crews will be the laugh factor in the movie but he wasn’t used correctly. Guess he was born for comedy not action flicks.
As for the ending, typical again! that is all I will say about the ending. I really wish one day a writer would come up with an ending that does not involve falling in love happy ending. sometimes you need a sad and cruel ending.
If you watched it, did you notice how old Stallone is? he can barely run anymore.
Anyway, I would give it a 6/10
