2 New Cinema Companies Soon

According to Al-Qabas it seems that two new cinema companies will open in Kuwait.
أن مجال العرض السينمائي سيشهد منافسة حادة قريبا بعد أن دخلت شركتان جديدتان لتنهي بذلك أكثر من 58 سنة من احتكار السوق لشركة واحدة وفق الامتياز الذي حصلت عليه وكانت من الشركات الرائدة في المنطقة في عرض أحدث الأفلام السينمائية في العالم، وهاتان الشركتان هما «الحمراء» وتمتلك خمسة دور عرض في مجمع الحمراء الجديد وسط العاصمة، وشركة «الأندلس» وستقدم عروضها في مجمع السالمية بلازا في دار العرض المعروفة «بلازا» إضافة إلى قاعتين جديدتين في المجمع نفسه.
KNCC had an exclusive agreement for 50 years since 1954. This ended in 2004 and it seems two companies have entered the comptetion.
We know for a fact that Grand Cinemas will open in Al-Hamra mall. In thr article above it seems a company called Al-Andalus is opening too and will take over the cinema complex in Salmiya Plaze and will include new theaters.
The only Al-Andalus company I found was Spanish and had the Cinepolis cinamas. However I couldn’t find any news about opening in Kuwait.
Due to Kuwait not having any laws regarding the cinema. New companies are having trouble in opening because they need to acquire rights for movies beforw release. I’ll try to find something about this soon

Same stupid censors will govern all three, irritating and rude audience who are only getting more rude, and technically sub-bar theatres (only chairs are improving so the mindless audience sit their asses comfortably, who cares about quality of sound and picture anyway)

FOr new cinemas I think they would approve the sound and picture quality for sure. However, as for censorship this is by the ministry and no one can do anything about it.
