Youtube In Kuwait: Need’s Originality

This is like a Youtube war. Innocent question is a web show that tries to answer a question. This one was about another youtuber who made fun of Kuwaiti girls. hile the other one is more of a comedy stand up that makes fun of girls mostly.
As you know Kuwait doesn’t have their local youtube site like the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Of course this is not really confusing on why Kuwait isn’t part of the list. Well, as you know till now I have not seen one great Kuwaiti Youtuber. If they are great, they disappear quickly. We lack in this area still.
- Comedy
Our comedy is all about the typical boring comedy we see in our theaters. The one that just make fun without resembling any issue. It doesn’t make sense at all and it’s all about seeing themselves superior than others. It’s like the person who does the comedy has nothing wrong in his/her life.
Comedy lacks the punch lines, the relevance to reality and talking about things that actually matters sometimes. Stand up isn’t learned but it’s talent that given. Deaniya jokes isn’t the thing that youtube really needs
I also noticed that some comedians try to copy other comedians out there. There has to be originality in the content
- Musicians
Another thing missing from the Kuwaiti youtube is musicians. There are a couple of rappers out there and that’s that. We do not see people that play some kind on an instrument or has something unique when it comes to music.
- Entertainers
We do not have any entertaining web shows , whether it’s about movies, celebrity gossip, make up, fashion or even a cookie show. When it comes to those type of shows we might have a total of 2 I can think of right now.
- Short films
From time to time we get a short film being released by Kuwaitis on Youtube. However, these releases are not often and takes ages to be released. HOwever there are great short film creators out there that I believe need to dedicate themselves to such videos.
We need time to grow on youtube, and I hope those talents out there get a grep and start “youtube”ing.

I mean, and I’m talking neutral in this matter, from the beginning I did not like sayood methods into criticizing us (girls, Kuwaitis, fat people…etc) and every time I see him in college I wish to give him a piece of my mind, but it is his person and I do not have a say in it. So2al baree2 has a valid point into pointing it out, but he ruined out the whole thing by not being decent with his criticism. I mean that are a lot of better ways to put out your point with a peaceful matter. Both should apologize for their inquiries. And that is only my opinion. and nothing else.

June 24th, 2012 at 11:40that sayood crawls under my skin, he is so annoying and obnoxious..he should stare in the mirror for maybe 5 minutes and then maybe start to criticize people. Btw if he thinks he’s funny then he should think again, because i laugh at him, not with him.

June 25th, 2012 at 11:34Also, on the musician part, there are a lot of non-rap musicians in Kuwait who regularly post their stuff online.
There’s several vids of me, and my band, and other musicians recording or performing or giving sneak previews.
