Cherry Blossom 2012 Tokyo, Japan

One of the reasons why we chose to go to Tokyo, Japan at this time of year is to capture the beautiful sights of the Cherry Blossom season. The cherry blossom comes once a year and ends quickly and you need to be here at the right time to see it at it’s best blooming time.

We headed to Shinjuku’s own Gyoen Garden where you can see all the different colors of trees just spred all over. We kept on waiting on the wind to blow those pink/white petals around us. An amazing scene that we thought only happened in cartoons.

We could see the cherry blossom all around Tokyo while we were descending in the plane. A must see view. If you are thinking of traveling to Japan, April is a must.

Below are some of the pics we took in Gyoen Garden in Shinjuku Tokyo.
