This topic has been on my mind for a while. This post will cover the “Eve”s in my life and how without them it wouldn’t have been myself today.

Mama, may she rest in peace. 45 months of her life was to carry 5 children and see them grow to adults. No matter how rude we were, no matter how bad we were. She was always there for us. Even when she was angry at us, the moment we cough she would be there to take care of us. A mother is something special that we cherish. The one who brought us to life and didn’t seep for days to make us who we are now. A mother’s job isn’t easy and I have seen it with Her. Maybe I didn’t notice all the tiredness my mother went through but now I am forever grateful.

Sisters, my older and younger sisters were always like my friends. When I ever needed to talk my older sister was always there. With my younger sister, there is no age difference. We understood each other. Although our minds are set differently, they were always there from birth to marriage.

Then comes Her, my wife. I really can’t stop talking about her because she companies the friendship and love together in our relationship. No matter what I think she is there to support me. No matter how ill I am she is there to care for me. Now taking care of our first child she is using all her time for that. A great mother.

See, Eve is essential in our lives. We sometimes think that a woman is just there to have our kids and cook. While I believe otherwise. I believe women are strong enough to support a family and have a great career. She is also the reason a man is successful. Remember behind every great man there’s a great woman

It’s not about the power, it’s about completing each other. That completion doesn’t happen when ignorance is present. See with Eve His & Hers wouldn’t have been created. I believed in blogging and I introduced Her to blogging. We wouldn’t have had fans and readers without Her part of the blog.

Some parts of our community neglects the role of Eve. Some come to a point where they just think that the woman is there for kids, cooking and pleasure. They think that a man going back home early to his wife is “sokana morta”. They forget that the day in need, that wife will be there for you.

Mother, sisters and wife…without you I wouldn’t have been successful and happy.
