His & Hers Q8

We were invited to attend the comedy stand up at Live Theatre “Komic sutra”. I took one of my friends as His couldn’t attend the event.

Just look at the entry, very theatre like. loved it.

At the start, the comedians were mingling with the audience. The above are Nitin Mirani and Ahmad (the host). After that, Ahmad kick started the show and presented to us Lamya:

Lamya was funny and very lovable just by watching her. One of her jokes:

“I was called for an interview and when I was there they told me you don’t sound like a woman who wear a scarf. I said:
If I talk like Zis will it sound like a woman who wears a scarf? (Egyptian accent)”

Once done, Nitin was one stage:

Nitin was really funny, we couldn’t stop laughing. This guy made joke after joke and really made us laugh.

Imran Al-Aradi should have been next, but due to Mesho being alone at I had to live and couldn’t get to see his act.

Now, the place is great. I love stand up comedy and it’s great to know that there is an official place now in Kuwait. I would love to see Kuwaiti stand-up comedians here too one day. I do recommend tat if there is another show, you should go. I think there are two nights left.

I will definitely be going there for future shows.
